This is a sneak peak of three of the books that I love to mine gems about wealth, financial empowerment and mindset. One of these books might even make the pick for the first actual Live in Person Book Club!

Sapiens: A Journey into the Past, Present, and Future of Humanity

In "Sapiens," renowned historian Yuval Noah Harari takes us on an exhilarating expedition through the vast and intricate tapestry of human history. With a fresh perspective and curiosity, Harari explores the origins and evolution of our species, Homo sapiens, and delves into the profound questions of homo sapiens came to dominate and eventual triumph over other human species, such as Neanderthals..

Harari's book really took me on a contemplative journey about my place in the intricate web of human history. In a way it urged me to envision how my own actions and choices can shape the future or completely fade into the nihilistic fact that we are but a speck in the grand stroke of history.

The Art of Seduction:

This book is more than sexual seduction. It's our instinctual play-book that we all can learn from historical figures that embody how to slowly seduce the world with your ideas, philosophies, passions or causes. Robert Greene... just putting this out there, one night on Valentines day in 2002 I was supposed to go to a party. I was so obsessed with your book that I chose to stay home and keep reading your book. You were at the party and spoke about your book with my friend who went to the party without me for hours... I would love to do an interview with you one day. Just putting that out into the interwebs :)

Four Thousand Weeks:

This book gutted me at times. The one that hit home for me is that life never tells you when the last time you give your kid a bath. It just slowly happens one day that something that was a chore that you had to do, or maybe tried to multi-task while sending just one last slack... turns into something you used to do and no one tells this is the last bath you will give as a mommy. Savor it, cherish it... it just ends. That is life in our four thousand weeks we live if we are lucky. And too many of us race through just trying to get through it, or worse trying to cram every last waking moment with productivity and the truth is we just can't. Choices need to be made. It's a book that you need to read 2-3 times and come to the book as a new you.
